Yes it's true. Free plan and torrenting won't work. So that's why I get these error messages.
I know it's not ideal, but how can I disable the VPN en stil use qbittorrent? When put the VPN section in the .yaml file in comment, I'm not able to reach qbittorrent.

To disable the VPN you need to follow the steps backwards: https://yams.media/advanced/vpn/#manual-configuration-
