sabnzbd resolv.conf

Post by The_jc »

The resolv.conf file in the sabnzbd image keeps reverting to the nameserver 127.0.0.1. This prevents my usenet server from resolving and downloads failing. If I update the file manually to a working DNS downloads resume.

I am unable to make this sticky.

The file looks like:

Code: Select all

nameserver 127.0.0.1
# Generated by Docker Engine.
# This file can be edited; Docker Engine will not make further changes once it
# has been modified.

search XXX.com
options ndots:0

# Based on host file: '/etc/resolv.conf' (internal resolver)
# ExtServers: [8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 1.1.1.1]
# Overrides: []
# Option ndots from: internal

Is there a way to stop this from going back to 127.0.0.1? Or is there another problem? THanks!

Hey @The_jc!

I have never seen this happen before. Do you have a custom configuration?

Cheers!

Roger.

Nope, not custom. Just used default yams.

Then I don't know what happened. I've never seen this before. If you are sure you don't have anything custom, this might be a bug in one of the included software (Maybe SABNzbd itself?)
