Changing Plex image in docker compose?

Post by marcusclarcus »

Hello

Is it possible/safe to change the image in the docker-compose to the official Plex one instead of linuxserver? They seem to be so far behind pushing updates now and was wondering if it could be changed from lscr.io/linuxserver to plexinc/pms-docker

Thanks in advance!

Hey @marcusclarcus!

Yes, it should be safe to change, just make sure you apply all the changes recommended by the official Plex image. I'm not sure if the official YAMS Plex instructions will still work at this point though.

So, basically, yes, it should be fine to change, but you're on your own from here!

Cheers!
